Hey Indie Hackers,
I realized I was wasting about 15 minutes every week just staring at my open fridge, trying to mentally catalog what I had before going to the grocery store (and still forgetting things).
Being a developer, instead of writing a list on paper, I decided to over-engineer a solution.
Enter SnapFridge (https://snapfridge.xyz).
The concept is dead simple:
Snap a pic of your messy fridge.
The AI scans the shelves, identifies ingredients, and cross-references them.
It generates a shopping list of what's missing or suggests recipes based on what's expiring.
If you log in it keeps track of your preferences
I'm currently bootstrapping this as a solo founder. I'd love to know if you find the AI accuracy "good enough" for daily use or if it misses too many items in your specific lighting conditions.
Brutal feedback is welcome!
