I built an AI girl image generator that got featured on 20+ directories

I'm Charlie, and I've been working on https://girlgenerator.app — a focused AI image tool for creating anime, chibi, watercolor, pixel art, and other stylized character illustrations from text prompts.

The problem I noticed:
Most AI image generators try to do everything. You type a prompt and get generic, inconsistent results. If you want a specific art style — like anime or chibi — you often have to struggle with prompt engineering to get something decent.

What I built:
A tool that does one thing well: character art. You pick a style, describe what you want, and get a high-quality result in 10–20 seconds. No Photoshop skills or prompt wizardry needed.

Next.js, Cloudflare Workers, custom image generation models (Nano Banana 2)

What’s working:

• Featured on 20+ directories and review sites

• Organic traffic growing through SEO — I’ve been investing heavily in content and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) to appear in AI search results

• Paying users across 3 tiers ($6.99 / $13.99 / $27.99 per month)

What I’m still figuring out:

• Balancing free credits vs. paid conversion

• Which art styles to double down on

• Whether to add more models or improve existing ones
