After watching small business owners lose customers because they could not respond fast enough, I built Replio.
It reads incoming messages (email, WhatsApp, Instagram DMs) and sends smart AI replies instantly 24/7, no human needed.

What is your biggest pain point with customer response time?
The safest wedge is a narrow, repetitive request with clear escalation rules. Start in suggestion mode, measure acceptance and correction rates, and only automate replies after the business can see exactly when the system should hand off to a person.
This is a real problem, especially for small businesses that wear every hat themselves.
One thing I'd be cautious about is making sure the AI knows when not to reply. Fast responses are great, but an incorrect or overly confident response can sometimes be worse than a slower human one.
I think the sweet spot is handling FAQs, pricing, business hours, and simple inquiries instantly, while escalating anything nuanced to a person. If you get that balance right, I can see this being really valuable.
The previous commenter nailed it. Speed vs confidence are different problems and most "instant reply" tools optimize the wrong one. Worth instrumenting from day one because a 30-second AI reply that says the wrong thing churns harder than a 4-hour human reply that closes the loop.
Built a couple of customer-facing AI agents this year and the pattern that worked was a tiered escalation. Tier 1 the AI handles fully (pricing questions, hours, FAQ-shaped stuff, order status if you have an API). Tier 2 the AI drafts and queues for a human to send with one tap (anything involving refunds, complaints, custom quotes). Tier 3 it just pings the owner with full context, no draft (legal, angry customers, anything with a price tag attached). Drawing those lines clearly is usually what separates auto-reply tools that retain from ones that get turned off in week 2.
The WhatsApp + Instagram + email triple is the interesting part of your stack though. Each one has totally different message latency expectations. Instagram DM at 2am, customers expect morning. WhatsApp at 2am, they often expect under an hour. Email anywhere from minutes to next day. If you reply instantly to everything on every channel, you accidentally train customers to expect that forever, even on the channels where they didn't before. Worth letting beta users tune per-channel response delay.
What's your fallback when the AI isn't confident? Hand off to owner, ask clarifying question, or just send a generic holding reply?
What I'd be most curious about is whether response time is actually the thing causing the loss.
Sometimes a customer leaves because nobody replied.
Sometimes they leave because the reply didn't create enough confidence to move forward.
Those can look identical from the business owner's perspective while leading to very different product decisions.
That's what stood out to me reading this.
