I built an AI that predicts interview questions from your resume β€” and it's live

Hi IH πŸ‘‹

I'm Justin, a student dev. I built OfferHack β€” an AI tool that stress-tests your resume and predicts brutal interview questions in 60 seconds.

How it works: Upload your resume + paste a job description. You get:

  • Match score (keywords, experience, skills)

  • Top 3 CV weaknesses (rated by severity)

  • 5 brutal interview questions + sample answers

  • Full cover letter + missing keywords + quick-win rewrites

The differentiator: ChatGPT gives generic advice. OfferHack gives personalized predictions based on your resume + that job description. No prompt engineering needed.

Stack: React, Express, Firebase, Gemini API, Stripe, Cloud Run.

Privacy: Your resume is deleted immediately. No storage. No training.

Traction: 10+ organic users, 2 completed analyses, 10+ Medium articles (2.5K+ views).

Revenue model: Free (2 generations), then $1.99/use or $4.99/month.

Launching on Product Hunt soon. Would love your feedback β€” good, bad, or brutal.

The interview prediction angle is more compelling than another resume score.

Most candidates don't struggle because they don't know their resume has weaknesses β€” they struggle because they don't know which parts an interviewer will challenge.

You're spot on β€” that's exactly the insight I discovered while building this.

I initially started with the match score as the main feature, but the more I talked to job seekers, the more I realized: they already know their resume has gaps. They just don't know which ones the interviewer will actually attack.

That's why OfferHack shifted from "resume analyzer" to "interview predictor." The weaknesses are useful, but the real value is in the question prediction β€” telling candidates exactly what they'll be grilled on, before they walk in.

That distinction has shaped the whole product direction. Appreciate you putting it so clearly. πŸ™

I'm glad it was useful. I enjoyed thinking through it with you.

I'd be interested in comparing a few more ideas outside the thread. What's the best email to reach you on?
