Every time I wanted to publish a video, the thumbnail became the bottleneck:
searching for inspiration
opening Canva or Photoshop
trying 12 layouts
rewriting the text
wondering if it would actually get clicks
So I built Miniagen — an AI thumbnail generator for YouTube creators.
You can start from:
a video idea
a YouTube link
an existing thumbnail
or just a simple prompt
Then it generates multiple clickable thumbnail concepts you can edit.
The goal isn’t to replace designers.
It’s to help creators get from “I need a thumbnail” to “I can publish today” way faster.
I just launched it and I’m looking for brutally honest feedback from creators, indie hackers, and anyone who has struggled with thumbnails.
Would love to know:
Would you use this?
What’s missing?
Does the landing page make the value clear?

Happy to share what I learn from launch week if people are interested.
I know how much of a time sink thumbnail creation can be. I actually know a few YouTube creators who'd probably be happy to answer your questions, I could ask them for you.
Thank you, if you can send them the app they're testing with the free trial without a credit card
I know the people you need on "replyz" community. Just post your question, describe the type of person you want answers from, and people with matching backgrounds can respond with detailed insights. To keep it genuinely helpful instead of spammy, you also have to contribute to the community. Happy to help if you need anything getting started.
