Hey Indie Hackers! I'm Jean, a solo founder building AI tools for creators.
After years working on AI products, I decided to leave my job and start building my own products. My current project is ViralSnap AI. I built it because I was curious about why some Instagram Reels get millions of views while others don't.
Most creators spend a lot of time creating content, but they often don't know what actually makes a video work.
ViralSnap AI analyzes viral Reels and breaks down:
- Hook
- Scene structure
- Storytelling patterns
- Captions
- Content strategy
Then it helps creators turn those insights into new scripts. I'm still early and currently focusing on improving the product and learning from creators.
Would love to hear from other founders and creators: How do you analyze what makes content perform well? Do you have any workflow for researching viral content?
I like that you're focusing on understanding recurring patterns instead of treating every viral Reel as a one-off success.
I'll be interested to see which insights creators consistently reuse across multiple videos. Those patterns will probably reveal whether the product is really helping people understand content strategy rather than simply replicating individual viral posts.
Exactly! A viral video is just one data point. The real value comes from finding patterns across many successful videos ,understanding the “why” behind what works, not just copying the format.
Appreciate the context.
That distinction between copying outcomes and understanding the underlying patterns is the interesting part.
