I built an AI trading platform that beat the S&P 500 by 27 points. Now seeking acquisition.

Hey IH!

18 months ago I started building ACIS - an AI-powered portfolio management platform. No VC money. No team of 20. Just obsessive focus on one problem: can ML actually beat the market?

The answer is yes. 34% returns in 3 months. S&P did 7%. Real money, not backtesting.

What I built:

8 distinct investment strategies (dividend, value, growth, + market cap variants)
LightGBM models that score 1,700+ stocks every night
JAX reinforcement learning for portfolio optimization
Personal portfolio analyzer - users upload holdings, get instant ML health grades
Daily market digest with AI-summarized news (using Perplexity)
Full API for white-label integration

Tech stack:

FastAPI + Python 3.11 backend
React + Vite frontend
PostgreSQL (65 tables, 23GB)
LightGBM + JAX/Flax for ML
Claude API for AI insights
Total infra cost: $300/month on Hetzner

The pivot:

I'm not raising. I'm not trying to scale to 100K users. The real value here is the technology.

Brokerages, robo-advisors, and fintech platforms are all racing to add AI capabilities. Building this from scratch takes 2-3 years of R&D. I've already done it.

So I'm positioning for acquisition. Looking for someone with fintech M&A relationships who wants to partner on finding the right buyer.

Numbers that matter:

Spearman IC consistently > 0.03 (our predictions beat random)
Hit rate > 52% (small edge, but compounding)
Long-short spread > 2% (top picks vs bottom picks)
Fully autonomous - runs every night without intervention
Would love feedback from anyone who's been through an acquisition process. What worked? What didn't?
