I built an AI video generator that finally includes synced sound 🚀
Hi everyone! I’m a solo developer, and I’m excited to share my latest project: Grok Imagine (https://grokimagine.app).
💡 The "Why"
As I explored the world of AI video, I noticed a consistent pain point: almost every generated clip is silent. Creators then have to spend extra time finding, editing, and syncing audio to match the visuals.
I built Grok Imagine to provide a "one-shot" creation flow. It’s powered by the xAI Aurora engine and generates high-fidelity 6-second videos with automatically synced background music and sound effects.
✨ Key Features
Three Creative Modes: I implemented Normal (for professional use), Fun (for social media), and Spicy (for stylized, expressive art) to give users more control over the "vibe".
Synced SFX: No post-production needed; the AI handles the audio for you.
Social-Ready: Supports 1:1, 2:3, and 3:2 aspect ratios out of the box.

Frontend: Next.js 15 + React + TailwindCSS.
Auth: Better Auth (Google OAuth).
Payments: Stripe integration for subs and credit packs.
Engine: Integrating the xAI Aurora engine.
Deploy: Vercel & Cloudflare.
💰 Business Model
I’m running this as a freemium SaaS. Every new user gets 10 free credits to test the quality. For those who need more, I offer both monthly subscriptions (starting at $19.90) and one-time credit packs for flexibility.
