I built an AirDrop alternative for Windows — got my first paying user
I use both iPhone and Windows every day, and moving things between them has always been frustrating.
There’s no AirDrop, so I kept relying on email or chat apps just to send simple things. It always felt slow and broke my flow.
So I built WinSend — a way to send from iPhone to Windows using Shortcuts and even a simple back tap.
Recently, I got my first paying user (from Japan), which made me realize this problem might be more common than I thought.

I don’t have an iPhone so I can’t test it, but the idea makes a lot of sense.
The iPhone ↔ Windows gap is definitely real, and anything that removes that friction is valuable.
