I built an all-in-one AI tool for video creators after editing 100+ videos

Over the past year, I edited more than 100 videos for my own projects.

And I kept running into the same problems again and again:

– Videos without subtitles
– Needing bilingual or multilingual captions
– Hardcoded subtitles that couldn’t be removed
– Wanting to reuse video audio for podcasts
– Wanting to narrate with my own voice
– Spending way too much time designing covers

None of these problems are “hard” on their own.
But the real pain was that every step required a different tool.

One for transcription.
One for translation.
One for subtitle editing.
One for audio extraction.
One for text-to-speech.
One for thumbnails.

The workflow was completely fragmented.

So instead of adding yet another single-purpose tool to the pile, I decided to build something different:
an engine that handles the entire “video material production” pipeline in one place.

That’s how HuakeAI(https://huakeai.fun) started.

The idea was simple:
Turn raw audio or video into ready-to-publish assets with as few steps as possible.

Today HuakeAI can:

• Extract and translate time-aligned subtitles directly from audio and video
• Remove burned-in (hardcoded) subtitles with AI
• Clone your own voice and generate speech from text
• Separate clean audio from videos for podcast use
• Generate editable covers by understanding video content and auto-creating titles
• Design covers with fonts, backgrounds, and 1,000+ commercial-use icons

All in one workflow, without jumping between five different tools.

What surprised me most during development was how similar creators’ problems are across platforms.
Whether it’s YouTube, TikTok, podcasts, or online courses, everyone struggles with the same “invisible work” around content: subtitles, localization, voice, and visuals.

The product is still evolving, but the direction is clear:
reduce production friction so creators can focus on ideas instead of tooling.

We just launched HuakeAI on Product Hunt, and I’d really love feedback from fellow indie makers and creators.

If you’re building for creators or working with video/audio yourself, I’m curious:
what part of your workflow feels the most fragmented today?

Love seeing solutions born from real pain points! The subtitle and multilingual caption challenges are so real for creators. It sounds like you've built something comprehensive for the video workflow. One thing I've noticed is that many creators also struggle with the content ideation and scripting phase - being able to just talk through ideas and get structured scripts can be a huge time-saver before you even get to the editing stage. The voice-to-content workflow has been a game-changer for many creators I know.
