Hey indie hackers!
I have been building WhisprMe — an anonymous messaging Telegram Mini App where users can receive honest feedback, questions, and confessions from friends, colleagues, and followers.
How it works:
You share your personal link
Anyone can send you anonymous messages
You read them in your inbox and can reply
Premium features are paid via Telegram Stars (native in-app currency)
Tech stack: Node.js + Express backend, React frontend, PostgreSQL, deployed as a Telegram Mini App.
Monetization: Telegram Stars micropayments — users pay 1-3 Stars for premium features like mood reactions, priority delivery, and message reveals. No credit cards needed, payments happen natively inside Telegram.
What I learned so far:
Telegram Mini Apps have massive distribution potential — 900M+ users
Stars micropayments have surprisingly low friction compared to traditional payment methods
Anonymous messaging is inherently viral — when someone receives a message, they want to share their link too
Content moderation is critical from day one
