I built an app for storing loyalty cards with 55k downloads. What creator-friendly monetisation models could fit, apart from charging users?

Hi everyone!

I've built an app that helps people store and organize their loyalty cards digitally, and it's gained some decent traction with 55k downloads so far. The app is free to use and I want to keep it that way for users since I believe loyalty programs should be accessible to everyone.

I'm looking for creative ways to monetize this without charging users directly. I'm particularly interested in creator-friendly monetization models that could work well with this type of app.

Some ideas I'm considering:
• Sponsorships from brands/retailers
• Content partnerships with loyalty program companies
• Affiliate marketing for featured deals/offers
• White-label solutions for businesses

For those of you who've worked in the creator economy or have experience with alternative monetization models - what other approaches would you suggest? Have you seen similar apps succeed with creative revenue streams?

Any insights, examples, or suggestions would be hugely appreciated!

Thanks in advance! 🙏

Love your creator-focused approach! Your ideas are solid, and here are a few additional monetization models that could work well:

    Content & Community:

    • Create educational content about maximizing loyalty rewards and monetize through sponsorships
    • Build a community/newsletter around "loyalty hacking" tips
    • Offer premium guides or courses on reward optimization

    Data & Analytics:

    • Provide anonymized market insights to retailers about loyalty program effectiveness
    • Create trend reports for the loyalty industry

    B2B Services:

    • Consulting services for businesses wanting to improve their loyalty programs
    • API access for developers building similar solutions

    Marketplace Model:

    • Curated marketplace of exclusive deals/offers (taking a small commission)

Since you're targeting creators, the content/education angle could be particularly powerful - you could become the go-to expert on loyalty program optimization. What type of content resonates most with your current users?
