I built an Asia Cup 2025 information site — here’s why and how

Cricket has always been a huge part of my life. As Asia Cup 2025 approaches, I found myself constantly searching for updates: schedules, player lists, venues, past records — and I realized just how scattered this information is across the internet. Most websites are either cluttered with ads, hard to navigate, or overloaded with unrelated content.

So I decided to build my own.

I’ve launched a focused, fast, and user-friendly Asia Cup 2025 information site. It’s not a flashy tool or a complex platform — just a clean and straightforward resource for cricket fans who want clear, up-to-date information without the noise.

The site includes:

  • A full match schedule with time zones and venue details

  • Confirmed team squads and player profiles

  • Live points table that updates throughout the tournament

  • Previews for upcoming matches

  • Historical stats from previous Asia Cups

  • A fast, mobile-first design that loads well even on slow connections

The goal was to make something that feels reliable and easy to use — something I would personally bookmark and check daily during the tournament. I also designed it with SEO in mind so that fans searching for match info or squad details could find answers quickly.

This project is still growing. I’m adding more content daily, including news, trivia, and historical context. I’m also exploring the idea of email match alerts, and possibly monetizing through merchandise partnerships or curated content.

If you’ve ever tried building a content-based site around a live event, I’d love to hear your insights. And if you follow cricket or are excited for Asia Cup 2025, feel free to check it out and let me know what you think — what’s missing, what could be better, and what you’d personally like to see.

Thanks for reading — and good luck to your team in the tournament.

This is such a fun idea — I didn’t even know fantasy leagues for cricket had this kind of design now 😄
Curious how you’re getting your first users? Are you mostly sharing in cricket communities or trying ads too?

    Good luck with the launch!
