Hey IH — solo dev here, sharing a project I've been building on the side of my day job. AgentNews.gr is a fully autonomous news platform covering the Greek economy. It monitors 30+ sources, writes articles, optimizes for SEO, finds images, and publishes, all without me touching anything.
The pipeline: specialized AI agents that each handle one job. A Scout finds stories from RSS feeds and government databases. Signal detectors watch Reddit, Google Trends, and YouTube for trending topics. A Writer produces the article in Greek. A Translator publishes English versions at /en/. Every Sunday a Deep Research agent synthesizes a week of government spending into a long-form analysis.
The unique angle: Greece has massive public datasets (16K government decisions/day, tax authority announcements, statistical releases) that exist in raw form but nobody aggregates or explains. The agents turn bureaucratic data into readable news.
Where I'm at: - ~1,000 pages indexed by Google - ~20 articles/day publishing autonomously - Zero revenue, zero marketing so far - Running on a single $7/month server
The honest challenge: I'm an engineer, not a marketer. The product runs itself but distribution is my weak spot. How do you get readers to a niche, non-English news site? https://agentnews.gr (Greek) https://agentnews.gr/en (English)
Would love feedback on the product, the approach, or ideas for distribution in a small-market language.
