I built an invoice app because I never billed on the same day

I run a small freelance/software shop. The pattern was always the same: finish the work, shake hands, tell myself I'd invoice tonight, then do it Thursday. Or never.

Wave / FreshBooks / a Google Doc were all "fine" and still too much friction when I was standing in a doorway with a phone.

So I shipped Invoiciz:

• iOS + Android

• Tap "Try without account" — no email

• 5 clients / invoices / quotes free

• Branded PDF from the phone

• Optional Stripe (your own account)

Not accounting. No books, no tax. Guest stuff lives on the device.

Curious what would make you send the invoice before you leave the building. Signup wall? Ugly PDF? Or just "I'll do it later"?

You’ve identified a real behavior gap. Have early users actually started sending invoices immediately with Invoiciz instead of postponing them?

No, indeed, users create accounts, but they don't immediately create an invoice at this stage.

That’s the key drop-off then. Do you know what stops them from creating the first invoice?

It could be maybe because the forms are too heavy. Planning to add product catalogue in the app to auto fill instead of typing it.

Didn't figure it out yet but will work it out
