I built an offline AI video editor that removes silence automatically (Android)

I was frustrated with manually cutting silence from my videos. Most tools require uploading files to the cloud, which slows everything down and raises privacy concerns.

So I built AutoCut AI, an offline-first Android app that automatically removes silence or smart-speeds quiet parts to make videos more engaging.

It also runs subtitles (14 languages), text-to-speech, and format conversion directly on-device. No uploads. No waiting.

I'm building this as a solo maker and focusing on creators who want faster workflows without relying on cloud tools.

Would love feedback from other indie builders — especially on positioning and growth.

Offline‑first is a strong differentiator. For positioning, I’d lead with “no upload + privacy + speed” and then show a before/after timing example (e.g., 20‑min talk → 8‑min clean cut in X minutes). Creators care about saved hours.
