Hey Indie Hackers 👋
After building multiple products, I kept running into the same problem:
I could see signups and sources of traffic, but had no idea which traffic sources were making me money.
Google Analytics gave me sessions. Stripe gave me revenue.
But connecting the two? Total black box.
So I built Boone: a lightweight attribution tool that matches UTM (+custom attribution parameters) and referrer data to Stripe revenue, all based on user email.
No BigQuery setup. No reverse ETL. Just:
A simple JS snippet
Stripe Connect integration
Attribution + revenue insights in one place
Who it's for:
Solo founders, bootstrapped SaaS builders, and anyone using Stripe who wants to know what's actually working.
I just launched the MVP and am looking for early users
Would love feedback on:
How could this coach you to make better decisions on where you focus your time and resources?
What insights are most valuable?
Where does the onboarding feel confusing?
What would make this something you’d check weekly?
Happy to answer questions, share how it works under the hood, or even help onboard you 1:1 if you’re interested.
When a customer pays weeks after the first visit, do you keep first-touch or overwrite on the last referrer? Last-click on the Stripe session is the easy number and usually the wrong visit.
This is a real gap. I've launched a few products and the "which channel actually converts to revenue, not just signups" question is one I've had to answer manually with spreadsheets more than once. The part I'd want most as a multi-product founder is a way to compare attribution across products without opening five different dashboards, since that's usually where the real time gets lost. Are you thinking about supporting multiple Stripe accounts under one view for people running more than one product at a time?
