I Built CaliperTools – A Free Online Suite for Image Conversion, Resizing & Compression

Hi Indie Hackers! 👋

I’m the maker behind CaliperTools (https://www.calipertools.com/), a collection of free online image tools that lets anyone quickly convert, resize, and compress images directly in the browser.

I started this project because I often needed simple image processing without opening heavy software, installing apps, or signing up for accounts. The goal was to remove friction: just upload, process, and download.

What it can do:

• Convert between JPG, PNG, GIF, WebP

• Resize and crop images

• Compress images to reduce file size

• All tools are free, no signup, no watermarks

I built it as a side project and have been iterating based on user feedback. My plan is to gradually expand tools and improve performance, while keeping it fast and lightweight.
