Thanks, really appreciate that. I built CompliAssistant™ to handle exactly those contextual HIPAA questions — not just document checks. It looks at the workflow, the data flows involved, and whether ePHI is created/received/transmitted. From there it gives a yes/no BAA determination with the reasoning spelled out. Still lightweight by design, but more logic-driven than just “upload a document and get feedback.”
Got it, that actually makes the tool a lot more useful than a simple document checker. One thing I’m curious about does your logic adapt based on different integration patterns? For example, when data flows through a third party vs stays fully internal. That’s where most teams get stuck in real-world workflows.
