I built DatingWaitlists because dating apps feel too noisy, too random, and too optimized for endless browsing instead of real connections.
The idea is simple: give people a shareable dating identity and a private code so they can signal when they’re open to meeting someone, instead of forcing everyone into the same swipe-based funnel.
What I’m building:
A personal dating waitlist, not another dating app.
A private code system for controlled access.
A simpler way to move from interest to actual dates.
I’m still early, but I think the core insight is real: people don’t always want more matches — they want clearer intent.
Would love feedback from other founders:
Is this a real problem or just a nice-to-have?
Would you use a waitlist-based dating product?
What would make this feel trustworthy and not weird?
