I built DocReplacer to edit Word documents without breaking formatting
Editing Word documents often breaks formatting, alignment, or spacing — especially when you’re just trying to update text.
I ran into this problem repeatedly, so I built DocReplacer, a small web tool that lets you edit text in DOCX files while preserving the original formatting and layout.
It’s early, but it already helps avoid manual reformatting after every edit.
I’d love feedback from anyone who works a lot with Word documents.
