3 months ago I realized I was spending more time writing LinkedIn posts than actually building my product.
The irony: I needed content to get users, but I had no time to create it because I was busy building for users I didn't have yet.
So I built FounderDistro.
What it does:
Paste your product URL → posts for LinkedIn & X posts in your voice → in under 2 minutes.
It's not a generic "write me a post" wrapper around GPT. It uses a 6-stage narrative arc system that moves your audience from "who is this?" to "I need this" over time. Every post builds on the last one.
What I built it with:
- Next.js 16 + Supabase + Stripe
- Anthropic Claude for content generation
- Google Imagen for AI visuals
Current state:
- Free tier: 5 credits/account (1 credit = 1 post)
- Pro: 200 credits/month at $29/mo
- ~10 days live on ProductHunt
What I learned building it:
The hardest part wasn't the AI — it was voice fidelity. Generic AI post generators produce content that sounds like every other AI post. The fix: force the model to work from your product URL context, not from a blank prompt. Still not perfect, but meaningfully better.
Looking for:
- Honest feedback on the UX — where does it confuse you?
- Founders who struggle with consistent LinkedIn posting
- Anyone who has tried similar tools and has opinions
