David, this is fantastic. I really like the "Live" mode. I tried making a comment on the chat but FYI the login process doesn't seem to work.

Great work anyway. It's super snappy and fast.

Thanks! 😊 It might be asking to open a popup and your browser blocked the popup? Did you try signing in using the navbar?

Let me know if it still doesn't work - I'll try work out why.

It looks like this was my Chrome cookie settings.

Thanks for the help on Twitter DM, David :-).

    I loved it

My only question is a legal one...

Your using the name of a well known business entity in your Product Name...

Did you contact them about this...would seriously recommend preparing a back up name
as I am pretty certain you will shortly be receiving a cease & desist order.

    I could be wrong...I am sometimes...However

    I found this in https://www.ycombinator.com/legal/

I think it's very unlikely - there are many HN clients out there. There is also https://thehackernews.com/ which seems to have leveraged YC's HN? Maybe more likely to have problems with them? Also its non-commercial use anyway.

It seems like it shouldn't be possible given how generic and descriptive it is, but they very well could have trademarked the words "hacker news".
