I built Linkify to help founders be seen, build trust, and get Leads

I used to help founders 1:1 on LinkedIn to build their personal brand and get leads.

I did it manually for years. Slowly it started to work, I kind of found the way.

But there was always the same problem. Every founder I spoke to said:

  • “I don’t know what to post.”

  • “I don’t know who to connect with.”

  • “I start, then lose consistency and disappear.”

That’s when I thought , maybe AI and automation can actually help with this.

So I worked with my co-founder to build it. Even before we wrote a single line of code, we had a waitlist of 100 people, just by posting the right content, connecting with the right people, engaging at the right time and reaching out at the right time

I had this framework already,

That’s how Linkify came to life.

What it does today is simple:

  • Helps you write posts in your own voice and gives you your first draft in your POV

  • Keeps you showing up, with posts and with comments, so people actually notice you.

  • Suggests the right people to connect with, so opportunities open up.

  • And it’s safe , we don’t scrape or risk your account.

Where we are now:

  • 250 people have joined.

  • 20% are paying.

  • None of the paid users have left.

Still early days, but it feels like we’re solving a real problem: helping people be seen, build trust, and get opportunities without burning out.

👉 If you’ve faced the same struggle, give Linkify a try , I’d really love your feedback.

I might just cry. This is so close to what I've been looking for by way of relevant LI posting help. Do you offer friends & fam of Indie Hackers discount?

    1. 1

Yes we do, I sent you a LinkedIn connection request. Let me share it 🙌

Congrats on the traction, 20 percent paid and no churn is a great early signal. Two quick questions. How do you capture a founder’s voice, for example sample posts or style sliders, and what safeguards keep accounts safe on LinkedIn. One idea to test next, a simple weekly planner that helps block 30 minutes to lock in posts and target connections, with a gentle streak and skip days so consistency does not burn people out.

      Thanks! 🙌

For the voice, onboarding is simple, we start by understanding your background, audience, and goals. From there, Linkify creates a baseline using your past posts and a few prompts, so the suggestions actually sound like you, not a generic AI.

On safety , we don’t scrape, automate logins, or do anything risky. Everything runs clean and compliant, so your account stays safe.

Love the weekly planner idea. A “30-minute block” with streaks and skip days feels natural , definitely something we’re exploring as we build more around consistency without burnout. Appreciate the suggestion!

Have you tried the tool yet?

      1. 1

        I have tried it indeed!
Here's what I liked and disliked
I really like the setup steps for my profile, especially defining what I want to be known for, who my audience is, and so on. The AI-generated responses to the questions are also very cool. The only thing I’d change is during signup: when you generate a response or move to the next step, the notification covers the "Save and Continue" button, which makes me either close the notification or lose an extra second.

btw we could partner up. Me and my team are building HustleAdvisor, a social network where entrepreneurs share practical step by step lessons. If you join the waitlist and later post a short write up about building Linkify, we will boost it in the main feed so more people see it :)

        You get: more users
We get: an experienced entrepreneur on board

Most founders don’t fail on LinkedIn because of bad ideas, they fail because they can’t stay consistent. Looks like Linkify is tackling exactly that.

    1. 1

That’s exactly what we’re fixing with Linkify… keeping you consistent without making it feel like a another task, Have you tried it out?

      1. 1

Haven’t tried it yet, but I love the angle. From a copywriting and UX standpoint, consistency isn’t just about volume, it’s about showing up with authentic voice and context that actually builds trust. Curious how Linkify balances automation with that human touch.

  4. 2

Congrats on the traction so far. The 20 percent conversion and zero churn is a really strong signal this is solving a painful problem. The angle of helping people stay consistent without burning out feels like the real unlock. Curious, do you see most users leaning more on the post generation or the connection suggestions?

    1. 1

Appreciate that! 🙌 Yeah, we’ve been blown away by how sticky it’s been. Right now, most users lean a bit more on the post generation to stay consistent ,the connection suggestions feature will drop next Monday

Apreciate your efforts however its a scheduling platform like buffer that too specifically for linkdin , need tow ork a lot

    1. 2

Just to clarify , Linkify isn’t a scheduling platform, so we don’t have a scheduler built in. What we do is help you:

      • draft the right content,

      • find the right people to connect with,

      • engage with them in a meaningful way, and

      • increase your visibility so you actually get leads.

So instead of focusing on timing posts, we focus on making sure what you post, and who you engage with, actually moves the needle.

  6. 1

Cool. My biggest struggle isn't writing — it's the fact that LinkedIn punishes you if you don't follow the fake-smile, corporate-friendly style. Can Linkify help with that, or is it just another tool to play the same game?

    1. 1

yes, Linkify can help you skip the fake-smile corporate voice and post in a real, human tone that still gets reach.

      How it does that

      • We learn your voice. You tell Linkify a few samples (or copy a couple of posts) and it builds a voice profile so suggestions sound like you, not a marketing brochure.

      • Human + AI workflow. The AI drafts; you edit. We push copy that preserves your quirks, jokes, and edge, not bland corporate lines.

      • Story-first templates. Instead of “insight → takeaway → CTA” corporate scaffolding, Linkify gives story hooks, short personal anecdotes, and unexpected openings that perform on LinkedIn.

      • Distribution that works( in works). We help you schedule posts for the best times, suggest who to engage with first, and give short, on-brand replies so you get early momentum without sounding fake.

      • Test & learn. We A/B test tones and hooks and show simple analytics so you keep what grows and drop what doesn’t.

      • Safety-first automation. No risky scraping or spammy automation , just smart timing and engagement nudges that follow LinkedIn rules.

  7. 1

Really like how you turned a repeated founder challenge into a product. Out of curiosity , which part of the automation do you see helping founders the most - posting content or staying consistent with outreach ?

    1. 1

I focus more on the posting side. Outreach tools can be risky since they might get your account blocked. Instead, I use lead scoring to do it safely and smartly. First, I connect with the right ICPs. Then, we post solid content, engage with their posts, and as the lead score goes up, I reach out with value at the right time. That way, it feels natural and usually leads to booked calls.

  8. 1

Love Linkify's concept! Building trust and making the founders more visible is smart. Would love to hear how you're planning to attract your first users and measure traction.

    1. 1

yes, have you tried it yet, It's gonna up your linkedin game

  9. 1

Wow, this is really impressive! 👏 I love how you identified a common struggle for founders—knowing what to post and how to stay consistent—and turned it into a practical solution.

It’s awesome that you already had a waitlist before even writing a single line of code, and that your tool keeps engagement authentic while staying safe. The part about helping people show up consistently with posts and comments really resonates with me.

I’m definitely going to check out Linkify and see how it can help me (and others) build trust and get noticed. Thanks for sharing your journey and the tool!

Not many people realise how big LinkedIn is. They have like 1B users. I’ve built my whole business on top of it and it’s the main lever for growth.

    1. 1

LinkedIn is such an underrated growth channel. Same here built Linkify around it because if you use it right, it’s insane how much reach and trust you can build.

  11. 1

I haven’t started LinkedIn posts yet. I’ll check this out.

    1. 1

If you're new. you might need some help, I'll be happy give you some support to get started

  12. 1

the marketing of a brand or startup is exhausting, but social networks are getting more picky with the content that seems from bots

    1. 1

I understand the frustration, but we only help then get the first draft in their POV never automate AI content

      1. 1

        thanks for clarifying that
