I built MarkdownConverters — turn any file into clean Markdown

I recently launched MarkdownConverters.com — a tool that converts any file or URL (PDF, DOCX, PPTX, HTML, etc.) into clean, structured Markdown.

The idea came from frustration. I was constantly cleaning messy exports when preparing docs, READMEs, or data for AI/RAG pipelines. Tools I tried either broke formatting or gave unusable Markdown. So I built something that focuses on accuracy, structure, and readability.

MarkdownConverters makes it easy to:

• Upload or paste a URL → get usable .md instantly

• Keep headings, tables, and lists perfectly intact

• Prepare content for documentation, repos, or LLMs

• Work privately — no data stored or shared

It’s for developers, writers, and AI teams who use Markdown as their base format and want a reliable, one-click conversion workflow.

I built it solo — from backend to UI — and learned a lot about file parsing, cleaning HTML, and preserving semantic structure.
