Nope, the ranking is done with a normal recommendation engine ranker, but I did bootstrap the data with an LLM. It's neat how LLMs make traditional ML more possible in interesting ways (played around w/ a 0-shot ranker too but not much luck there yet)
Honestly the recommendations still aren't great but they'll get better as I get to the 100s-1000s of users range

Very cool stuff Evan! There's like a thousand bajillion newsletters out there now so having one curated for the user seems like a nice idea.
This is different from what you guys have worked on but it would be cool to have it synthesize a couple creators' newsletter together for the user.
(Also the email beta button probably need some padding 😅 I'm on mobile safari)

I know Tibo's newsletter product aggs newsletters. I was more interested in normal news/web sources, but maybe I'll add newsletters in the future too!
this is interesting, i was working on an AI news product previously also. i signed up, but i was concerned about the typeform form. like i want to see more stuff before investing in filling out a form with info.
