I like writing in Notion, but publishing to WordPress has always been a bit painful.
Every time I finished a post I had to copy the content, upload images, create a featured image, configure SEO settings, and fix formatting before I could finally publish it. It easily took 15–20 minutes per post, and honestly it made me procrastinate big time.
I first started automating the process using Notion, Airtable, n8n, and the WordPress API so that when I change a status in Notion, the post gets created in WordPress automatically. Images are uploaded, a featured image is generated, SEO metadata is added, and the post appears as a draft ready to review.
But after using it for my own blog for a while, I realized this might actually be useful for other people too. A lot of people like writing in Notion but still rely on WordPress for publishing.
So I turned the automation into a small tool called Notipo.
Now the workflow is basically just writing in Notion and changing a status. The post then appears in WordPress automatically.
Curious if anyone else runs into the same publishing friction.
