I built Pro Launch because I was tired of watching great products disappear after launch day

Hey IH community! 👋

Quick confession: I used to think the hard part was building the product.

Turns out? The hard part is getting anyone to actually see it.

The struggle:

Over the past few years, I've launched a few side projects. And every time, the pattern was the same:

→ Spend months building something I'm proud of → Stress over launch day → Get a decent traffic spike → Watch it all disappear within a week

My product pages would get archived. My search rankings would flatline. And I'd be back to square one — except now I had a product and a growing sense of defeat.

Sound familiar?

The realization:

The platforms I was launching on were optimized for content, not creators. They treated my product like a news article: here today, buried tomorrow.

But founders don't need a moment. We need momentum.

What I built:

So I built Pro Launch — a platform that gives your product:

✅ A scheduled spotlight on the homepage

✅ A permanent project page (no expiration, ever)

✅ High-quality backlinks that actually boost your SEO

✅ Real user discovery — founders and makers browsing by category

The idea is simple: you launch once, but you stay discoverable. Your page keeps ranking. Your backlinks keep working. And new users can find you months later through search or category browsing.

Where I'm at:

I've been working on this for the past few months, and I'm now live with paying customers and featured projects across AI, SaaS, and productivity categories.

But I'm here because I value this community's feedback more than anything.

I'd love to know:

  1. What's your biggest frustration with launching products?

  2. Would a permanent page + SEO backlinks actually help your project?

  3. What features would make this a no-brainer for you?

Happy to answer any questions about the build, the tech stack, or the mistakes I made along the way (there were plenty 😅).

    The core pain is real.

I’d just be careful that Pro Launch does not get framed as another launch directory with SEO benefits.

The sharper promise is probably around what happens after launch week, when the spike disappears and the product still needs discovery, backlinks, and search presence.

That is a different buyer emotion than “submit your product.”

It is more like: “don’t let launch day become the last day people find you.”

Happy to put the tighter positioning angle in writing if useful. There’s a real risk of having a useful platform but making it sound too close to existing launch/listing sites.
