I built PseudoRun — a pseudocode runner for IGCSE students who want to actually run their code

I’m an IGCSE student who got sick of writing pseudocode that never runs. In class, we write algorithms on paper, hope they make sense, and move on. It’s like learning to drive using only theory notes.

So I built PseudoRun -- a web app that lets students write, execute, and debug Cambridge IGCSE & A-Level pseudocode instantly. It checks syntax in real time, runs code with live input/output, and includes 20+ example programs for learning.

I used Compyle to help generate and refine the app’s core logic and UI, which saved me weeks of setup and debugging. The result is a lightweight, student-friendly tool that makes learning algorithms feel interactive and fun instead of abstract and frustrating.

My goals now:

• Add automatic trace table generation from pseudocode

• Collect feedback from real students and teachers
