I built SEOAI to make SEO analysis less painful (and more actionable)

I’ve been building stuff for the web for a while now—landing pages, tools, newsletters. You name it. But every time I tried to improve my site’s SEO, I ran into the same problems:

Too many tools.

Too much jargon.

Too little actual insight I could act on.

That’s why I built SEOAI.run.

The problem: SEO is a maze, not a map
Most SEO tools throw a mountain of data at you—keyword lists, backlinks, domain authority, robots.txt errors… But when you’re a solo dev or indie maker, what you really want to know is:

“What’s actually wrong with my page, and how do I fix it?”

The existing solutions didn’t cut it. Either they were bloated and expensive (think Ahrefs or SEMrush), or way too basic (just a keyword density check or page speed test). So I decided to go custom.

What SEOAI.run actually does (in plain English)
You drop in a URL. That’s it.

SEOAI then runs a complete on-page SEO check—with context. It doesn’t just spit out generic advice like “add more keywords.” Instead, it gives you structured, understandable output like:

🔍 Keyword Score: Are you targeting the right terms? Are they actually on your page?

🧠 AI Keyword Suggestions: Based on your content, what terms should you also be targeting?

🧱 Code-level Issues: Broken links, missing <title> or <h1>, poor meta structure—flagged with real HTML snippets.

🧩 SEO Article Generator: Yes, it can write. But not just fluff—it pulls from your existing content and your target intent.

Everything is visual, score-based, and comes with explanations.

Built in Next.js

SEO parsing + scoring powered by a custom LLM pipeline

Serverless functions via Vercel

Uses Puppeteer + cheerio for page scraping

Article generation module is layered with prompt engineering + caching to avoid repetition

Traction so far
I soft-launched to a few friends and early users. Feedback has been great:

A dev friend improved their blog’s keyword clarity and saw traffic bump in 2 weeks.

A small tool site used the article generation feature to publish SEO-targeted updates weekly.

Early feedback helped shape a better "score breakdown" chart that’s now live.

No crazy MRR yet, but validation is happening.
