I built the largest SMP clinic directory in the U.S. — here's how

Scalp micropigmentation (SMP) is a $5K+ procedure that's booming — but finding a good clinic is a nightmare. Google results are dominated by ads and chain clinics. There's no independent place to browse, compare reviews, and make an informed decision.

So I built Get-SMP.com — a free directory of 500+ verified SMP clinics across all 50 U.S. states. Every listing pulls real Google ratings and reviews, has full contact details, and is organized by state and city.

The niche is interesting from a business perspective: SMP treatments cost $1,500-$5,000 per client, which means clinics have real budget for advertising and featured placements. Even with modest traffic, a B2B directory in this space can monetize.

Where I'm at right now:

- 500+ clinic listings with verified data

- 15 blog posts targeting SMP keywords

- Organic keywords starting to rank (early stage)

- Working on building domain authority through backlinks and content

My focus right now is ramping blog content and building backlinks. Most of my target keywords have KD 0-5 on Ahrefs, so once DR climbs a bit higher, a lot of pages should start ranking simultaneously.
