I built the tool that does the 27 hours of slide production my co-founders used to do by hand

The analysis took 3 hours. The production took 27. Every single time.

I’m the engineer. When they showed me their workflow I thought they were exaggerating. They weren’t. This is how brand managers, market research analysts, and consultants spend their weeks. Millions of people. Same workflow. Nobody has automated it.

What Basquio does

Upload a spreadsheet. Describe what you need in two sentences. Get back:

  1. An editable PowerPoint with real charts from your actual numbers
  2. A written report with findings, methodology, and recommendations
  3. A data workbook

15 minutes. Upload your company’s PowerPoint template and the output matches your brand. Logo, colors, fonts. Not “AI tries to follow instructions.” Programmatic injection into the PPTX.

What it does NOT do

It does not make pretty slides from bullet points. That’s Gamma. It does not make dashboards. That’s Tableau. It does not summarize your file in a chat window. That’s ChatGPT.

Basquio does the analysis AND builds the presentation. One step. The input is a spreadsheet. The output is a deck you can present tomorrow.

How it works under the hood

One Claude API call with code execution. The model reads your data with pandas, computes metrics, generates charts with matplotlib, writes the narrative, and assembles the PowerPoint with PptxGenJS. No templates. No drag-and-drop builder. The model controls every pixel of the final file.

Where we are right now

Live at basquio.com. 100+ production runs completed. Self-funded. Six co-founders, zero employees.

A 10-slide deck takes about 22 minutes and costs us roughly $3.40 in API spend. A simple report (no slides, just the written analysis + data workbook) takes 10 minutes.

Free tier gives you 30 credits. That’s enough for 2 full deck runs. No credit card. Starter is 19/month, Pro is 149/month.

The ask

Try it with real data. Not a sample file. The actual spreadsheet behind your next meeting or your next client deliverable.

If the deck that comes back is good enough to edit and send, we did our job. If it’s not, tell me what broke.

The more you use it, the better it gets!
Once you start mastering the inputs, the value is insane. Clean UX, few steps and you get an analysis that’s 90% there—ready to be delivered after a quick final pass.
We’re talking about swapping two weeks of manual labor into two hours of computing: coming from a pro, that’s a total game-changer!

this is the tool i really didn't know i needed, 30 min of Basquio crunching numbers and i got back a full deck with an insightful analysis (only uploading an excel spreadsheet) which would have taken me days, with really straightforward recommendations and actions for my business
