Hey Indie Hackers! 👋
Just launched Trace, a calendar app powered by AI that makes scheduling feel like texting — not filling out forms.
Most calendars require too much friction: too many fields, too many taps, too much thinking. So I built something different.
With Trace, you can:
🗣 Speak it: “meeting after lunch with Eric” — done.
📸 Screenshot it: A class timetable? A concert flyer? Just screenshot it.
🔘 Tap once to schedule: Use the iPhone Action Button or a Shortcut — Trace captures what’s on your screen and creates an event instantly.
🧠 Let it think for you: It detects overlaps, adds buffer time, and nudges you when you’re planning too late.
🔁 Works with iCloud Calendar + Reminders: No new system to learn — just a smarter layer on top of what you already use.

Available on iOS, iPadOS, and macOS.
Originally launched in South Korea — now live in the US, Canada, and Australia.

I’d love your thoughts — especially on where the AI feels helpful vs. where it gets in the way. This is version 1.0 and we’re learning fast.
Got a few early supporter discount codes — happy to send one if you’re curious to try!
Thanks for checking it out!

Hi trace8739, Congratulations on building Trace — it's solving a real, everyday pain in such a natural, intuitive way! At this exciting stage, establishing a strong logo and visual brand can help Trace stand out even faster, build trust, and stay memorable as you expand into new markets. I'm a professional logo and brand designer, and I specialize in helping early-stage AI apps craft bold, lasting identities. Would love to share some ideas for Trace’s branding — no strings attached. Feel free to DM me or reach out at goldenretio2023@gmail.com. Would be thrilled to connect!
