I built Tryvorax to make startup naming less fragmented

Choosing a startup name sounds simple until you actually do it.

I kept seeing the same fragmented workflow: brainstorm names in one tool, check domain availability somewhere else, copy everything into a list, and then try to decide which option actually feels brandable.

So I built Tryvorax, a focused AI tool for founders. You describe the startup you are building, and it helps you:

• Generate memorable domain ideas

• Check live domain availability

• Compare options using a practical Brand Score

• Save, organize, export and share your shortlist

The goal is not to let AI choose the brand for you. It is to remove the repetitive work and help you reach a stronger shortlist faster, while keeping the final decision in the founder's hands.

I am building this as a bootstrapped solo project, and the product is now live at https://tryvorax.com

I would genuinely value feedback from other founders:

1. What is the hardest part of choosing a startup name?

2. Would a Brand Score help you compare candidates, or would you prefer different signals?

3. What would Tryvorax need before you would trust it for a real project?

I will use the feedback to decide what to improve next.

The interesting part seems to be the point where generating names stops being the problem and actually deciding which ones deserve to survive the shortlist begins. Curious whether early users find the Brand Score genuinely useful for that decision, or whether they're relying more on the availability and shortlist workflow.

Thanks Aryan — that’s a really useful question. That’s exactly what I’m trying to learn. My current hypothesis is that availability gets a name onto the shortlist, while Brand Score helps compare the finalists.

If anyone wants to try it, search for Tryvorax — you can run a free search and get 10 domain ideas. Any feedback, suggestions, or improvements you’d like to see would be very welcome.

That makes sense — availability gets you into consideration, while the score potentially affects what survives. I’d be curious what you learn once more people use it. What’s the best email to reach you at?

Thanks Aryan — the best way to reach me is through the contact form on the Tryvorax website. Search for Tryvorax and you’ll find it. I really appreciate the interest, and I’ll be happy to share what I learn as more founders use it.
