I built Twidle, a social platform for real connection.

Hey Indie Hackers 👋

I’m Edem Evans, a 17-year-old maker from Ghana 🇬🇭 and the founder of Aurisus.

A few months ago, I built Twidle — a social platform created for real connection, not clout.

I started this project because social media today feels fake, noisy, and focused on numbers instead of people.

Twidle is different. It’s simple, calm, and built for genuine interaction. You can post, chat, and explore without the pressure of followers or algorithms deciding your worth.

I built everything myself, with no team, no funding, and no computer but just my phone, determination, and a dream to make social media human again.

Twidle is live now as a Progressive Web App (PWA), so you can use it instantly anywhere.

💬 I’d love your feedback– what do you think about the experience, and what could make it better?

Thanks for reading 🙏
