One thing I’ve noticed about stress is that it’s rarely about the amount of work.
It’s usually about the mental spiral that happens before you even start.
You know the feeling:
You sit down to work or study and your brain starts going:
• “What if I fail?”
• “What if I’m already behind?”
• “What if I’m not good enough?”
Suddenly you’re not even thinking about the task anymore — you’re stuck in a loop.
I built a small tool called Unjam to help interrupt that spiral.
The idea is simple:
You write what’s bothering you, and the system tries to:
• identify the core issue
• explain why it feels overwhelming
• suggest one clear next step
It doesn’t give answers or motivational speeches.
The goal is just to untangle your thoughts enough so you can think clearly again.
Still improving the responses so they feel less generic and more specific.
If anyone wants to try it:
Curious if anyone here has built tools focused on mental clarity or stress before.
