Hey IH 👋
I just launched WeToDrive, a small tool I built to solve a problem I kept running into: transferring large files from WeTransfer into Google Drive.
Every time a client sent me a file, I had to:
Download → Wait → Upload to Drive → Wait again.
It’s tedious, slow, and eats up storage.
So I built a tool that does it in one step: paste a WeTransfer link, pick a Drive folder, and the file streams directly into Google Drive. No downloads, no re-uploads, no storage wasted.
I wanted a faster, cleaner workflow, and I realized a lot of freelancers, creatives, and remote teams deal with the same problem.
Free: 5 transfers/month, 100MB max
Pro ($10/month): 100 transfers/month, up to 2GB
Premium ($80/month): Unlimited transfers, up to 5GB, bulk transfers, API access, analytics
Dropbox & OneDrive support
Bulk link import
Auto-save mode for incoming links
Browser extension
I’d love feedback from the community:
Is the pricing fair?
Which integrations would you want next?
Any UX improvements you’d suggest?
“Congratulations on building WeToDrive! This tool is incredibly practical, simplifying file transfers by sending WeTransfer files directly to Google Drive. It saves time, enhances workflow efficiency, and demonstrates impressive innovation and problem-solving for everyday digital tasks.
Nice work. This fixes a real workflow issue. The download and re-upload step is something many people just put up with, so a direct transfer is a clear improvement.
The pricing looks fair for freelancers and small teams. A browser extension and bulk imports would make it even more useful. Curious how it handles reliability on larger files since that’s where similar tools usually struggle.
WeToDrive is brilliant—effortlessly sending WeTransfer files to Google Drive saves time and boosts productivity.
Clean idea and super practical! Direct WeTransfer → Drive saves so much time. Pricing feels fair—curious to see how the Dropbox + OneDrive integrations evolve.
Yeah, that seems like the path forward!
WeToDrive simplifies workflow by sending WeTransfer files directly to Google Drive efficiently and effortlessly.
OMG yes 😅 I’ve spent way too many hours playing “Download → Wait → Upload → Wait” with WeTransfer. This is life-changing.
Glad you find it useful 🙂 @SeaGamesAI
Congrats on the launch! Regarding your pricing question: The jump from $10 (Pro) to $80 (Premium) feels a bit steep. You might be missing a 'Team' or 'Agency' tier in the $30-$40 range for power users who aren't quite enterprise-level yet. I analyze pricing psychology for one-person businesses quite a bit, and bridging that gap usually helps capture more revenue. Love the concept!
Thanks a lot
