You don't need a background in coding to start creating. No-code might have its limits, you might not be able to do super complex animations or designs, but the range of what you can achieve is still huge. Tools like Bubble or Flutterflow have really changed the game.
Just look at companies like Evaboot. They've made over 1 million in annual recurring revenue with a no-code tech. It shows what's possible.
Getting started with no-code is easier than you might think:
The best way to learn is by doing. There's a lot of info out there, but nothing beats hands-on experience.
And to be honest that’s how I’ve learned: no formation, no bootcamp just me trying to make a project working. And by the way, the story of how I really start no-coding is quite crazy but I keep that for another time.
I've been thinking of the idea of creating something to help people get started with no-code. I'm not big on doing courses myself, so it's a bit tricky to think about creating one.
Another idea that I was thinking of is to make the biggest library of no-code templates, but I’m not really sure about that (most people don’t change from their favorite tool if they see a good template on another one).
But if you've got ideas or suggestions, I'm all ears!
It's all about the idea. If your idea solves an important problem, it doesn't really matter how you executed it. Not being able to do programming limit you a lot, in my opinion. You can't do any AI products as you'd need code to connect the API, very limited SaaS opportunities, etc. Relying on another framework might also not be scalable.
I do like the idea of templates. I think they save a lot of time even for programmers.
This is great advice Mathis. It is now easier than ever before to hire devs from other parts of the world + AI is getting better helping you understand code + even do a big chunk of your coding tasks.
If you combine those two, there's no reason why one shouldn't go for a project, just because it requires coding.
