I changed Twitter UI to grow audience faster - here's how

Together with my friend, I started the Twitter journey a few weeks ago.

When creating lists, using advanced search, and reading threads we found multiple Twitter’s UX/UI flaws. Taking some actions required us to take several steps, some features were hidden (like advanced search).

To help us grow Twitter, we started to build a simple tool to make Twitter UI smoother and speed up some actions.

Here are some examples of what we work on:
#1 - Tiny auto-tagger that speeds up the search for accounts with specific content/audience
#2 - Quick add-to-list buttons on hover (saves 5 steps, you see that on the photo above)

What we thought about:
#3 - Auto-generated lists of big accounts that engage and retweet you
#4 - „DMed” tag to know if you already outreached that person

What do you think of these? Any tips on how to make Twitter better?

Any feedback is appreciated. Would love to make your Twitter experience better :)

I like the idea, especially the "DMed" tag!
Twitter is one of the main lead generation channels for us, and we bring in dozens of leads from it every week (talked about it here - https://lemon.io/blog/how-turn-twitter-lead-generating-machine/), so that tag sounds fantastic!

How can we try this extension?

Honestly, we built a simple version just for ourselves. I need to validate it and make more customer discovery before building it for other people :)

quick add to list would be super useful. but i think it's almost impossible to add on top of twitter experience, with the way the javascript of the page works. Worth a try though!

100% have to implement this for Evoke haha. The weird thing is, we don't really have "churns", since our customers don't pay based on a subscription.

Moreso, it's people that sign up without adding a payment method. Will have to ask them nonetheless

I'll get back to you once I get more feedback

    Interesting!

How are you implementing all these, through an extension?

    1. 1

Exactly, this goes through a browser extension. We will see where this project will go to. This is our first roadmap, but it can be changed based on feedback
