I couldn't find a dividend tracker that didn't want a monthly subscription, so I built my own (free, runs entirely in your browser)

I spent 20+ years in corporate before shifting my strategy toward dividend and passive income investing a couple of years ago. Almost immediately I hit a wall that probably sounds familiar to anyone here building toward financial independence.

My income came from three places: dividend stocks and REITs across a few currencies, a rental property, and some smaller streams like bond distributions and savings interest. I wanted one number — how much passive income am I actually generating per month, against the target I'm aiming for — and I could not find a single tool that did it.

Every tracker was built around capital growth: portfolio value, % gains, sector allocation. A few handled dividends well. None handled rental income. None let me set a monthly income target and watch all three streams fill it. And the ones that came closest wanted a monthly subscription — which felt quietly absurd for a strategy whose whole point is to stop paying unnecessary recurring costs.

So I built my own. I'm not a developer by profession — it started as a messy spreadsheet and slowly became a proper browser-based tool. I built most of it with AI assistance, which is the only reason a non-developer like me could ship something this polished. The thing I'm most opinionated about: it runs entirely in your browser. No account, no login, no server. Your portfolio data lives in your own browser's storage and is never transmitted anywhere. For a privacy-conscious, subscription-averse audience, that mattered more to me than any feature.

What it does now: consolidates every income stream into one monthly figure with live FX conversion, shows a 12-month income calendar (so you can see which months are thin), tracks progress toward your FI number, and flags dividend cuts early via a Dividend Health Panel.

It's free to use — genuinely, not a crippled trial. There's a Pro version for people who outgrow the free limits (unlimited holdings, a forecast engine, Excel/JSON export, the full health panel) at a one-time $49, no subscription, because I wasn't going to build the thing I was annoyed by.
