I created a promotional video with Keynote

It's been a while since I've worked on Multy, but in the last few weeks I've added a lot of features and I thought, why not create a marketing video?

This is the first time I've created this type of asset, and I had no idea what software to use. I started testing Davinci Resolve, and even though it's very powerful, it seemed a little too much.

I started to create a storyboard of my video on Keynote and I realized that you can export videos...
After a few minutes of testing I decided, I was going to make my promotional video on Keynote!

I'm not going to pretend that my video has incredible quality, but what struck me was that for weeks I had been researching how to create website promotional videos, and never had anyone suggest using a presentation software.

For indiehackers who don't necessarily have the time or the knowledge in video editing, this is a solution that seems very interesting!

What about you? How do you edit your videos? Do you make any for your products?

That's pretty good for being the first time! Way to go! :)

I actually produce a lot of educational content on DaVinci Resolve. And use it for my own client projects. But the first time I opened it and it really did look a bit overwhelming and I closed it.

For the products, I do have to make videos too, as the products are actually templates (macros) and tools for people that edit with Resolve.

I'll definitely try Davinci another time, I already had some knowledge with Premiere but it was a long time ago ^^

iMovie could be an alternative for this case.

Let's not pretend but it wasn't bad either, sound was a bit off to me, that's all.

I wonder if a link in the description would be better. Also searched for Multy on google and it's not there either.

I also used iMovie a little bit for accelerating the videos yep! And thank you for your feedback :)

Multy is difficult to find on Google but most of my visits are direct links from all over the worlds (mostly teachers using it for their student, funny cause I didn't do any marketing specificaly for them ^^).
