Generative AI tools have taken the Internet by storm, and I thought it’d be fun to create a collection of all the new & existing AI tools that have recently popped up.

Looks cool, and caught my eye since I'm working on GapScout (an AI tool).
But, it's also overwhelming. If it's just a directory then it might not get used. However, you could have a survey that's like:
"find the perfect AI tool for your use case"
Then do a little quiz and based on the answers, present the tool(s). You can have some of these tools pay for top spots as well.

This is very impressive, how long did it take for you to compile the full list? Are you planning on selling an airtable version of this at some point? I'm creating a list of marketing tactics for SaaS, and while my list is about 600+, I am having a hard time putting it to good use.

Cool idea. 😎 Had you thought about expanding to video editors/youtubers and the like? We spend a lot of time trying to get just the right sound out of our levels, boosting volume if recorded at too low of an input level, trying to deepen or remove nasally tones etc...if you've got that level of skill, could be worthwhile.
😖I fumbled a lot with this in the beginning - tons of YT vids and did finally find a tool (that has since been purchased by YouTube) that gets me there, but many would jump at the chance if you could get in front of them after some stumbles and frustrating hours in the editor.

If I were you, I'd try to get some video editors to use it...actually, what I mean by that is, if you could get some video editors to try it, give you feedback and write a positive comment or review about it.
Then use that feedback to improve it.
And use those comments/reviews to promote it.
The experienced video editors will have their sound game down already. But the new YouTuber will not. Or they will despise that part of it and be looking for an easier way.
It's the beginning YouTuber you're looking for as a paying customer.

I went in and tried to create an image (cause I'm always looking for new tools that my marketing cohort can use as a way to build faster, better landing pages and image creation is often a stumbling block...) 👩🏻💻
But...in the middle of image creation it prompts a login 🤔
...and after creating a login, there is no confirm that it happened 😬
...and then when I continued the process of creating the image it asks you to sign up for a monthly subscription.🤯
Ya kinda gotta either let people test it out and see that it's worth signing up for
OR
Show them all of the examples and social proof that it's worth signing up for..
Otherwise it's just frustrating - cause we spent a bunch of time and didn't get to see it.
