Hi everyone 👋 let me tell you a story, Back 1 year ago I made a blurweb.app as a way to hide sensitive information while I screen share while making youtube videos I made
Blurweb app improved a lot with regular customer feedback but because it is a browser extension it was limited to hiding stuff on the web, after multiple requests I finally decided to launch a desktop app with the same purpose.
The result is blurscreen.app which helps you hide sensitive info on the screen with a single click.
The plan is to improve the app making it better to solve the issue of hiding sensitive info while screen sharing.
I will really appreciate it if you check out the demo video I made on the homepage and let me know if you find it helpful in the comments
I am doing #buildinpublic thing on twitter you can connect with me @indianappguy
love it, great work, who’s the guy in the video? is this someone you paid to be in the video?
sorry for the video on blurweb.app
it's me 😎 , it's a bit long will make one better soon
right now I plan to make it similar to muzzleapp.com where no need to watch the video you can understand the product and the problem it solves by looking at the landing page
strange! i watched a different video earlier today, it’s now showing you in the video in the corner.
but in the video i can infact see the previous video in the demo screencast but blurred? anyway it looks great
I saw your deleted comment, I can understand blurweb.app & blurscreen.app are so similar they might seem the same
but here is a page to check the difference: blurscreen.app/blurscreen-app-vs-blurweb-app
yeah all good, sorry about that. i deleted it, was my mistake. was confused there with the different domains, thought it was a scam

Great landing page. How many times did I share my screen thinking I was only sharing a window... Very helpful product, good luck!
The landing page looks neat.
Minor feedback, had to actively look for the download link on the page.
Would be great if you could make it more prominent.
sure can do
The demo video is well explained and to the point. The speaker explains how the extension works in a clear and concise manner. And btw, the landing page looks great, especially the section where you can try the extension. Good luck!
what about blurscreen app
Sorry, I mixed up websites links.
To be honest I don't like this video format for a landing page, especially for a hero section. It's well explained, but I do not believe people want to know how to use the product in detail the moment they land on the website. Instead, they want to know what the product is about. Plus it's quite long (more than 2 minutes).
I would suggest going for a shorter format and showing the embarrassing situation rather than just saying it as you did in blurweb app video.
Makes sense i am planning on making a short video soon will update then
I think your demo video does the job! However, I think it could be a little bit more engaging.
Your video reminded me of this website: https://muzzleapp.com/
Muzzle shows exactly the problem they're trying to solve in a funny and engaging way - and it's something people can relate to. Maybe that's something worth incorporating in your video?
Thanks, Yes i will try to add something like that
