→ 24 Hours challenge

I challenged myself this Saturday morning to build something very simple, minimal & useful from Start to Launch within 24 hours 💪

It sounded impossible in the beginning & I was too scared to share it publicly but followed my gut feeling & did it anyway.

The final result was because of some tech problem in production I failed to do it in exactly 24 hours but made something very good in just a few extra hours beyond it.

I realized that adding this time constraint helped me avoid feature creep, and add only the most useful features.

I could write hundreds of more features but the constraint of hours pushed me to strike out most of them and only picked the top 4-5 features I had in my list.

And choose to create a minimalist screenshot tool with very minimal options & interface.

Why?

In the past, I've spent countless hours building something that I never launched or got too bored to complete in the end. 🥲

I realized that i was in my comfort zone of writing code & not actually doing marketing or launching them.

This made me shameful in my own eyes.

To give myself a boost I thought to challenge my skills, and the weekend sounded perfect for it.

Launch Result?

Changed my plan a bit instead of launching this on PH, launched it in multiple subreddits, got some amazing reviews, and this cute award 🏆
