I didn't like Google or Perplexity so I built something of my own with AI

Santanu here, and I've got something exciting I can't wait to share!

I am making first AI SaaS product public- It’s called Crux AI.

The Problem

Have you ever felt frustrated by the countless hours spent on web research, traversing one rabbit hole after another, only to retrieve scattered nuggets of useful information?

Maybe you're a content creator, trying to form a compelling narrative, a student working on your LLM, or just someone in need of accurate data.

In this information age, the challenge isn't access to data - it's sifting through the overwhelming avalanche of content to find valuable insights. This is where Crux AI comes to the rescue.

What is it?

Crux AI is like your very own research assistant. You give it a topic; it scurfaces relevant, and comprehensive data from across the web,in no time and you have a neatly compiled report on your screen.

For instance, let's say you're creating content around 'sustainable living.' Instead of manually scrolling through countless articles, simply task Crux AI with gathering information on this topic. It will dive into the depths of the web, and before you know it, you'll have a detailed report filled with insights ready for you to whirl into a compelling piece!

How to get started

To get started, all you need to do is input your topic to do research on. Your AI researcher then gets to work, leaving you free to focus your energy on crafting your masterpiece, be it a well-argued thesis or an insightful blog post.

How’s it different from Perplexity

In case your wondering how it is different from perplexity AI, we differ on four points:

1. Detailed research report spanning 800-1200 words, that covers the breadth and depth of the given topic

2. Perplexity is more for fetching short and concise results alt to Google. We are a solution for people looking for deep information to either create content or pass it as a data for flow engineering or building AI agents.

3. Get data from specified urls or domains and do a RAG on it ( feature not live yet)

4. Get a research report based on a given set of topics and sub-topics ( feature not live yet)
