I didn't share this for a year: an open letter to myself.

Just over a year ago, on March 31, 2021, I penned a letter to myself.

I had just quit my job and started my Bootstrap Sabbatical.

I read it every time I felt like I was stalling, or times got tough, or I needed a kick to get back to creating.

I shared it with a few entrepreneurs during the year when I felt that maybe they'd find some encouragement or wisdom in it.

A year later I thought I would embrace some of that vulnerability and share it more publicly.

Given all of you are also entrepreneurs, maybe you'll find inspiration in it as well?

Here's a little reminder.

Whatever you're doing, or struggling with.. Keep going.

You're a man after my own heart, Kev.

I recently took a year off (2021) for sabbatical after my last tech exit. Spent the year reading a ton, writing kids books, taking improv classes, screenwriting, hiking and generally being 'around' for my wife and kids.

I'm grateful for the growth and experiences of it all.

    I'll check out your website!

Thanks @Cowboy. Appreciate you taking the time to read through the letter and that it resonates.

Are you still taking a break or back building businesses now?

What industry was your last business in?

        You bet, Kev.

Yeah, I'm ramping back up - doing a lot of research and generally trying to be of service to others. My last business was a mobile health app.

Hope you're having a productive week!
