Hey fellow hackers! 👋
I’ve been watching small business owners struggle with traditional e-commerce platforms. They pay high monthly fees, deal with complex setups, and worst of all—their customers abandon carts because the websites are heavy and slow to load.
I wanted to solve this by bringing the checkout process to where people already spend all their time: WhatsApp.
So, I built Zlvox.com — a platform that turns a regular WhatsApp number into a fully functional online store in minutes.
The Tech Stack & Philosophy:
As a developer, I am obsessed with speed and performance. Instead of jumping on the hype train of heavy JavaScript frameworks or bloated third-party libraries, I decided to take a different route.
I built Zlvox using a strict zero-bloat architecture with custom PHP and CSS.
Why? Because for an e-commerce tool, loading speed is everything. By keeping the codebase extremely lightweight, the stores load instantly, giving the end-users a seamless, fast experience. No unnecessary scripts, no heavy dependencies—just pure performance.
How it works:
A business owner creates their catalog on Zlvox.
Customers browse the clean, fast-loading store interface.
When they checkout, the entire order details (items, prices, totals) are sent directly to the business owner's WhatsApp as a structured message.
I am currently trying to improve the platform and would love to get your feedback.
If you have a minute, please check out zlvox.com.
I would love to be roasted on:
The landing page UI/UX.
The overall concept of WhatsApp-driven e-commerce.
Any features you think are missing for early-stage users.
Thanks for reading! Happy to answer any questions about building lightweight SaaS apps. 🚀
I know a few small business owners considering an online store; they'd probably be willing to answer any questions you have about their struggles with traditional platforms. Let me know if you want me to pass along some questions.
