Yeah, a lot of teams end up building a full warehouse + BI setup just to answer one question: which channel actually drove the sale. In practice the join itself is rarely the problem — it's the desync between sources: the event and the payment land at different times, the user switches device or session, a refund comes in a month later and never makes it back to the original record. So what actually breaks is data consistency across systems, not the join logic.
