I doubled our user base in 24 hours & how we turn it into video content

I always found it hard to create video content as an indie maker. I tried multiple formats in the past five years. Vlogs, podcasts, and shorts, but I am no full-time content creator. I am no expert with numerous success stories behind my belt.

So it either felt like it requires too much effort (like podcasts) to do right and it's not our nature, or it doesn't feel genuine (like giving entrepreneur advice on TikTok).

I also experimented with documenting how we do things. But recording how we built the feature for a month and editing it into a well-paced video was impossible.

Last month it clicked - let's do short and specific challenges. Like "I Doubled Our User Base In 24 Hours".

• It's going to have a natural storyline
• It's no bullshit advice - just us doing our best to build and grow our products
• It's natural to us; we can be ourselves and have a good time
• We will do a lot of work

We did the first one three weeks ago - doubling our userbase challenge. And I love the result. We had a fantastic time doing it, had a lot of good energy, accelerated our growth, and learned many lessons I believe the video is fun too!

We shot another one around Landing Pages a week ago, and this weekend we plan to do "Writing Blogs For 12 Hours Straight".
