I export HN 'Who Is Hiring?' as clean CSVs for $19 — month 1 lessons

Every month, thousands manually scroll HN's "Who Is Hiring?" thread to find opportunities or source candidates.

I built a scraper that exports it as a structured spreadsheet.

May 2026 dataset:

  • 186 companies hiring
  • Fields: company, role, tech_stack, remote, url, description
  • Clean CSV for Excel/Google Sheets/Airtable

Who's it for:

  • Recruiters sourcing at tech startups (saves 2-3 hours of manual work)
  • Founders benchmarking what competitors are hiring for
  • Job seekers wanting to apply to 50+ companies at once

Price: $19 at payhip.com/b/zySC3

What I've learned: Distribution is harder than building. Getting this in front of recruiters (who don't hang out on IH) is the real challenge.

If you know a recruiter or HR person at a tech startup: tell them this exists.
